EXACTNESS IS A FAKE I - XIII, 2021-23, 90 X 30 CM, OIL ON CANVAS
Philosopher and Mathematician Alfred North Whitehead claimed that reality cannot be fundamentally constructed by bits of matter that exist independently of one another. If something happens it is connected to every other process in the material world and mirrors every other process that is taking place or that has already happened in the past.
"EXACTNESS IS A FAKE" refers to a 1941 lecture by the mathematician and philosopher Alfred North Whitehead (Alfred North Whitehead / Bertrand Russel/ PRINCIPIA MATHEMATICA) who, against the backdrop of the new physics (quantum mechanics), questions the absolute accuracy or reality claim of scientific calculations, since no cognition can happen independently of an observer.
There is no exactness, no perfection in life. Everything is subject to permanent change. Everything is fleeting. Everything is a process. Accuracy and exactness exist only as aspects of the whole, but the whole may be something completely different.
